Oh, for shame! I should have posted long before now, but as I said in September, school eats artistic time away. What time I had in November was devoured by NaNoWriMo, and I seemed to exist only to write 50,000 words of exposition, having such a scrawny string of a plot. But now I've been doing some art things again. I've done three things worth showing, and I'm working on another. Today, in this post, I'll post the first, being the final Avril Lavigne picture. So I decided that I needed to draw something. Something that would be good practice in colouring digitally. So I decided I would draw a person. A person with marvelous taste in clothes and fashion, and the first person who came to mind was the founder of Abbey Dawn, Avril Lavigne. So I drew her, and now I am in the processes of colouring the line sketch, which is posted above. It may be awhile before the final version is complete, but I am busy being artistic to some degree. <.< Tags: avril, drawing, lavigne, line, sketch, wip Current Location: At home Current Mood: Busy Current Music: "I Miss Misery Business" - Avril Lavigne vs. Paramore

So I drew this earlier, without provocation or direction. I hadn't an idea what or who he was when we was first drawn - I just wanted to draw a guy with a pointy nose. <.< So I got down to his waist and realized that I really didn't know what he was doing. I looked at the arms and facial expression, and eventually concluded that we was balancing. So I chose the setting of some chapel, and you can see the priests and congregation down there, not that I should know how such a service would transpire. So I just randomly sketched away. v.v
And he dropped his hat, which will blow his cover, thus the exclamation point. I sort of feel sympathetic towards this poor guy's plight. Perhaps he'll appear again in other sketches. I really don't know. I hope it all turns out positively for him. This is the fifth blog-ish site I've ever possessed, and it is the least familiar. Of course, familiarity comes with time, and rarely comes naturally. Therefore, I refuse to criticize Livejournal for my own misplacement. Although, I do witness before me a smooth layout and a convenient method of doing things. So I'm of the mind that this will all go down swinging. Fwa. But as I've stated, this is the fifth blog I've registered for. The first was on Xanga, then MySpace, then BlogSpot, and finally Livejournal. However, I still have full intentions of continuing account on Wordpress. Perhaps you've heard of it - though it's more likely that you haven't. Linkage would be displayed as the following: Graced Precision. It's a compilation of many things, most of which dull and unimportant. But if you should wish to follow me there, by all means do. I appreciate it. But despite the non-sequitor nature of that blog, this will no doubt follow a more organized procedure, in that this is basically designed for art and writing. I won't post videos or other people's content on this particular blog, though I may post links to Graced Precision should I feel the urge. But as of now, I'm sticking to simplicity. Thank you for wasting your time reading this post, you are an amazing audience, thank you, and goodnight. -Ian Tags: first, introduction, livejournal, post, rambling Current Mood: Here Current Music: "The Grey Man" - Copeland
